The AEM 41-1401C Electronically Tuned Air Intake System represents the next generation of cold air intake technology resulting in larger horsepower and torque gains for specific Scion tC models by precisely tuning mass air flow sensor signals to the engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this advanced AEM air intake system. Air enters the system through an AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The intake tubing keeps a constant diameter throughout its length allowing larger volumes of air to pass through than most traditional cold air intake systems. The AEM intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to also accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor and engine breather hose. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty.
