Agency Power Cold Air Intake Kit Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost

A cold air intake kit on the Ford Mustang EcoBoost can help improve many aspects of the turbocharged sports car.  Turbo systems love to get a lot of air in and then move that air out as efficient as possible.  The ideal situation for a turbo would be a filter on the compressor and then a dump tube on the exhaust side.  However with the sophisticated sensors of today's vehicles, part of this setup would not work for your daily driver.  So to improve the air intake, Agency Power has this complete cold air intake system with heat shield for the Ford Mustang EcoBoost.

The cold air intake kit is made from heat treated 6061 aluminum tubing which incorporates a CNC machined MAP sensor mount.  The intake tube is flared to fit with the factory turbo inlet hose which leads to the turbo charger.  Each kit utilizes a high flow cone air filter to not only breathe better than factory, but is reusable for the life of the vehicle.  The front end cap features an induction area to ensure air is being pulled in from all directions.  The air filter features the AP logo on the rubber cap and secures to the aluminum induction pipe with provided clamps.

The aluminum heat shield helps keep the air forced in from the front of the Mustang directly on to the filter.  Used as a barrier between the engine and the filter, it can also help reduce temperatures.  As the turbo system is intercooled, placement of the air filter is not as important as the volume acquired.  The heat shields are powder coated black and feature the Agency Power "AP" logo.
