Agency Power Intercooler Kits AP-CLA45-108 Agency Power continues to improve the performance of the 2.0L turbocharged M133 engine found on the AMG 45 platforms. Unlike other turbocharged cars, the 45 AMG uses an air to water intercooler setup where the water is cooled with a heat exchanger. With the 45 AMG running high boost pressure at 27psi, the charge temperatures before the heat exchanger are extremely high. To improve turbo efficiency and keep cooling temperatures down, a larger capacity heat exchanger is called for. Designed for use on the stock or aftermarket turbo of the 2.0L turbo engine, the new Agency Power heat exchanger will provide consistent cooling advantages over the stock unit. With a larger core volume, the increased capacity helps with heat dissipation. This new heat exchanger (intercooler) is designed as an OEM replacement on the M133 engine. With the heat exchanger installed, expect an increase of horsepower and torque along with improved throttle response. This is a great upgrade for stock or tuned cars.
